  - Hi

  - I was talking to a bloke named paul the other day and he said that the marina had factory fitted telescopic shock conversions, I was wondering if the ones on your '72 model where them or ones of your conception?

  - Cheers

  - Adrian,

  - As far as I can recall the advanced model group worked on a double wishbone front end with telescopic shocks but they did not go to production.

  - I will try to think of the name of the guy doing the job.

  - What they should have done was adopt a Macpherson strut top end (sans

  - spring) to the existing torsion bar - I think Porsche use/d this

  - design.

  - This would have cured the Marinas handling probs.

  - Regards,

  - Stuart.

  - Hi,

  - no marina had factory fitted telescopic shock absorbers theses were

  - created by pedders suspension in the seventies due to the huge number

  - of customers complaing about poor road holding and handling

  - the factory story is 100% a myth

  - regards

  - Andrew
